I wanna be HOT

Have you ever really thought about what salvation means? Not what the definition is, not what it says in your bible concordance, what it MEANS.

The Creator of the entire universe, who is perfection itself, so Holy and Great that we can not come into his presence with our sinful natures, LOVES US.

In fact, he loves us SO much that he made a way that we COULD come into his presence. And because he would not be God if he was able to compromise his standards, not be Holy if he allowed sin to abide in his presence, that demanded payment. "For the wages of sin is death"-Romans 6:23. He loved us enough to pay those wages himself, for everyone who would accept his salvation. But it's not just a matter of saying "sure, sounds good, count me in" and going back to whatever we were doing before. To know that he loved us so much, to know what he did to save us, to truly love him, we MUST BE CHANGED.  "Knowing this, that our old man [(our sinful nature)] is crucified with [him], that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin." Romans 6:6

We must be changed RADICALLY. We are not only free from sin, but we must live for Christ!"The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me." Galatians 2:20b And this CAN NOT be done halfway. In Revelations 3:16 it says that "because you are lukewarm--neither hot nor cold--I am about to spit you out of my mouth."

We need to be HOT. If God's love is a consuming fire, we should be flaming.

Thanks for Reading,
Esther
